Jammu Kashmir Study Centre is an independent
and objective think-tank dedicated to the study of Jammu Kashmir
in its entirety. It undertakes policy relevant studies on
all aspects of this strategically important State of India and disseminates the outcome of the same in right
perspective in public domain.
Established in 2011, it currently has 15
Branches, 25 Activity Centres and more than 50 Affiliated Institutes with
1,000 plus Volunteers throughout India and abroad. Its Head Office is
situated at Pravasi Bhavan, 50, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi.
JKSC functions with the following OBJECTIVES:

- Disseminate authentic information about Jammu Kashmir.
- Dispel the misinformation and lack of information about Jammu Kashmir.
- Support & Initiate programmes and projects aimed at Integrating Jammu Kashmir with the rest of India.
- Assist research scholars in undertaking in-depth and well researched study on various aspects (socio-political, economic, legal-constitutional, historical, cultural & national security aspects) of Jammu Kashmir.
- Provide accurate and timely information to anyone interested in studying the State of Jammu Kashmir.
- Lobby to promote pro-people policies and legislations.
- Attempt to correct the wrong information and policies pertaining to Jammu Kashmir.
- National Security & Strategic Issues pertaining to Jammu Kashmir
- Legal-Constitutional Issues like Article 370 and Article 35A
- Pakistan Occupied Jammu Kashmir (POJK) & China Occupied Jammu Kashmir (COJK)
